Pop Focus logoPop Focus

Pop your focus before you miss the next thing.

Pop Focus is a desktop app that watches all your calendars at once: Google, Microsoft, and local .ics files. Shortly before each meeting, event, task or reminder on your calendar, it floats soft bubbles across your screen, so you notice without being startled. Hover to freeze them in place, or click one to join the call when the entry has a meeting link. Leave them alone and they drift away on their own after a short while, with nothing to dismiss.

$16 one time, per device, plus tax where applicable. No subscription.

Try every feature free for 14 days. No account and no card needed.

Your browser or Windows may warn about a new download. Here is why, and how to check the file.

New in 0.1.4: clearer wording for everything on your calendar, an easier way to open Settings, and better problem reports. See what’s new.

What it does

Signing in with Google

Signing in with Google is optional. Pop Focus asks Google for read-only access to your calendar events and calendar list, plus your email address to label the account. It uses that access only to show you reminders. Details, and how to revoke access at any time, are in the privacy policy.

Pop Focus's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Signing in with Microsoft

Signing in with Microsoft (Outlook.com or Microsoft 365) is optional. Pop Focus asks Microsoft for read-only access to the events on your account's default calendar (Calendars.Read), your account email address to label the account (User.Read), and permission to stay signed in (offline_access). It uses that access only to show you reminders. Events go directly from Microsoft to your computer, and your sign-in token stays in your operating system's credential store. Details, and how to revoke access at any time, are in the privacy policy.

Some organizations require an administrator to approve new apps before work or school accounts can sign in.

Platforms

Linux packages: a .deb for Debian, Ubuntu and derivatives, and an .rpm for Fedora 43 or newer and Nobara. The macOS build runs on Intel and Apple silicon.
